To My Unborn Child

My Unborn Child,

How wonderful it is that you are inside me.

How wonderful it is that you are on your way.

How wonderful it is that you are my baby.

I cannot wait to hold you in my arms and love you with the love that only I, your mother, can give.

I cannot wait to see your dad's smile so big and so proud.

I cannot wait for you to meet your big sister.

Your father and I hugged for a long time.

Your father and I could not be happier.

Your father and I are proud you are our child.

I pray that you will be healthy.

I pray that I will deliver you vaginally.

I pray that you will know and love Jesus.

You are already loved.

You are already desired.

You are already in God's hands.

I've only been expecting you for eight hours but the joy, happiness and excitement that you bring has sprouted. 

It will only grow as you grow and it will bloom the day we will welcome you into this world.
